We can break down the safe installation into the following stages:
Mounting the Feed Container with Dispenser onto the Bracket: the dispenser is permanently connected to the container. If you purchased a set with the ‘saddle,’ it is also already mounted to this assembly. Place the container onto the bracket and tighten it in the desired position with the locking screws. When mounting or lifting, protect the dispenser and its components from damage. When mounting a set without the ‘saddle,’ assess the strength of the base and the connections. Avoid connections that could damage the container and dispenser components, as this may disrupt the proper operation or longevity of the device.
Installing the Rod: the rod needs to be assembled before installation. Start the connection from the end piece. Screw the intermediate piece onto it and secure the joint. If a longer rod is needed, connect another piece. Install the prepared rod assembly by screwing and securing it to the dispenser pendulum.

Proper operation requires adjusting the dosing mechanism. It is designed to be suitable for various feed particle sizes, making the device universal and widely applicable.
Loosen the dispenser locking screws – 3 pieces. Lower the dosing mechanism to its lowest position. Open the container lid by turning it counterclockwise. Add approximately 30–50% of the feed volume to the container. Gradually raise the dosing mechanism upwards and gently move the pendulum mechanism until feed starts to fall during these movements. The height should be adjusted so that a slight movement of the pendulum mechanism initiates the dispensing of feed. When the rod returns to a stable vertical position, the dispensing of feed stops. The height may vary depending on the feed particle size, so you need to adjust it individually. Secure this position by tightening the handles.

All components and the complete set are designed so that no complex tools are needed for installation and adjustment, or any necessary tools can be found in your basic farm tool kit.
It is convenient and simple to use because once you adjust the dispenser for proper operation and do not change the feed type, no further adjustments are needed. Refilling the feed is made easy by the wide opening of the container, and the screw-on lid with an integrated gasket ensures a tight seal.
Fish get accustomed to this feeding method and the feeding behavior within approximately 7–14 days. When the device is newly installed, initiate feed dispensing manually several times a day for at least the first few days to allow the fish to become familiar with the feeding location. They will discover the feeding process on their own by nudging the pendulum rod, which will cause the feed to dispense. Over time, they will understand the connection between the rod and the appearance of food.
IMPORTANT! The feeding location must remain constant, then the fish will know where to look for food.
Although the feeder is made from weather-resistant materials, we still recommend removing the pendulum rod and detaching the device from the bracket before winter, storing it safely in a storage location. The device is made of plastic that is resistant down to -25°C, but avoid impacts or extreme loads when the temperature is below -5°C. Since fish do not feed in winter, the water body freezes over, and weather conditions become varied, there is no reason to risk leaving the device outdoors. This shortens its lifespan and deteriorates its aesthetic appearance.

We recommend choosing a feed that ensures a balanced diet for the fish, containing all the necessary nutrients and minerals, and is of the appropriate particle size and density. Nutritional needs change according to the age of fish, sexual maturity, and changes in the surrounding environmental factors. It’s important to consider the time of year and the intensity of growth.
In complete fish feed mixtures, not only is the balance of basic nutrients and the levels of biologically active elements important, but so are the physical and chemical properties of the feed. It is necessary to feed with combined feed pellets of the appropriate size, shape, color, hardness, taste, and smell, adapted to the respective fish species. Attractive feed is eaten by fish more quickly and is more effective.
A fish’s ration depends on the individual weight. Small, young individuals can consume significantly more feed per unit of live weight than large ones. During the transition to external feeding, fish larvae can eat 1.5–2 times more food per day than their own body weight. As fish grow, this indicator decreases, and adult, sexually mature individuals consume an amount of feed equivalent to 1–4% of their weight.
The advantages of the pendulum mechanism: no electricity source required, relatively low cost, and simple operation. It serves reliably due to its uncomplicated design, and it performs its primary function of feeding fish effectively. It helps minimize water pollution due to timely feed consumption and is versatile in terms of feed types.
It is suitable for practically all fish species. It can be used for raising carp, crucian carp, or their hybrids, bream, tench, grass carp, cod, and many others.
Fish species raised in polyculture are combined in such a way that they do not compete for the same food group and are beneficial to each other, increasing productivity. 1 Combinations of fish are selected that help manage and fully utilize the pond’s ecosystem, improve water quality, and fully exploit available feed resources.
